Kuper Academy - Elementary Athletics

The goal of the physical education program is for each child to develop a lifelong appreciation for fitness and sport. Students in kindergarten through grade six participate in physical education three times a week to develop skills such as agility and hand-eye coordination. They are taught how to maintain a healthy fitness level and they learn sportsmanship, cooperation, and team play through a variety of activities that fall within the guidelines of the MEES curriculum.

Competitive sports teams serve to help students continue the development of their basic skills. In the elementary school, Kuper has a school-wide house system where all students participate in a variety of sports and competitions in a friendly and supportive manner; and Kuper also boasts a variety of interscholastic teams that compete against other schools within the Montreal area. Our teams are highly competitive and sportsmanship is a guiding rule.
