Kuper Academy - Alumni
Our alumni share the special bond of the Kuper Academy experience and have become citizens of the world. The list of Kodiaks who have gone on to successful careers in a wide variety of fields is long, impressive and constantly growing. Many are lifelong friends. Almost every week alumni drop by the academy to visit, reminisce, inquire about favorite teachers and share stories of where their Kuper Academy education has taken them in life. We are proud to have them representing us out in the world.

Kuper Academy actively promotes educational excursions and cultural exchanges. Day and overnight outings, coordinated with the curriculum, broaden the perspective of our students. Out of class undertakings and activities provide not only a sense of belonging to students, but also excitement and an understanding that they are part of a larger whole.
In the past, these activities have included student leadership conferences, debating tournaments, trips to museums, visits to television newsrooms and canoeing adventures. High school students have travelled to Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Greece, Costa Rica, and many other national and international destinations.
Field Trips and Class Outings
The elementary school at Kuper Academy has always been a leader in providing co-educational field experiences for young people. The program of outings includes a variety of bilingual educational experiences such as visits to historical sites and hydroelectric plants.
In the high school, unique field trips take students to interesting and stimulating places: Budding scientists compete in various science fairs sponsored by both universities and industries. Kuper students have explored the shores of Mistissini in Quebec’s Cree territory, helped to build a school in a barrio in Lima; and they have also discovered the joy of flight by taking the controls of a Cessna aircraft on Fly Day.
No matter what activity they prefer, Kuper students have become citizens of the world through experiential learning and by participating in the community that surrounds them.
